The bay runs long and thin between steep hillsides, so the water inside stays calm almost regardless of what's happening outside. A tiny village sits at its head, little more than a few tavernas and a scattering of houses. It's the kind of anchorage sailors talk about long after - not for what's ashore, but for how completely protected it feels.
How it fits a week
Often used as a secure overnight stop when guests want the calmest possible anchorage on a longer southern route. Nothing here is fixed - your captain places Gerakas wherever it works best for your weather and your mood.
